Unsold Item Policy
You must pick up unsold items at the assigned date/time listed on the first page of the MCS software—unless you’ve chosen to donate.
Items not picked up will become property of Swap.Expert.
We cannot store or return items after the sale.
Tag Your Items at Home
Be Ready for Drop-Off

You’ll need a computer, printer, and white cardstock (no colored paper)
-
Tag each item individually (don’t group items like goggles with helmets)
-
Tags go on the item, not the box
-
Boot boxes should be left at home
-
Limit: 24 items per consignor
(Retailers or those with more—email us before registering)
Use the Correct MCS Software:
Each sale has its own registration system—tags do not transfer between swaps. Be sure to choose the right one:

Steps to Create Tags:

Click the link for the swap you’re consigning to

Click ➜ JOIN

Fill in your contact info (all sale settings are pre-set)

Consent to the rules and check the box for email notifications
-
Check your email for your ID and Password (save info on phone)
-
Log in again and click ➜ Consignor → Add Items
-
Add Items in the template. Describe item, brand, color, size, etc
-
Use drop down list or type in information
-
Default price is $5—be sure to review your pricing
-

Print your tags
-
Tape tags to hard items (skis/snowboards)
-
Use safety pins or tagging guns for soft goods
-
Bring to Drop-Off & Pick-Up:

Two (2) printed copies of your item list

From the MCS site, click ➜ Consignor → List Items → Print Items
Consignment Rules
-
Items must be clean, with all zippers/buttons working
-
Only ski/snowboard-related items
-
All items are subject to inspection and may be refused
-
Prices cannot be changed once submitted
-
Items cannot be removed early before the pickup date
-
Bindings must be on the industry indemnity list
-
Generally, bindings 8 years or newer are accepted
-
Vintage/collectibles may be marked as non-working
-
We Do NOT Accept:

Outdated clothing (except vintage)

Scarves, hats
-
Equipment not on the indemnity list

Items we know will not sell
